2024 Scholarship Recipients
NHTC received scholarship applications from several deserving students from both NHHS and KDS DAR. NHTC is proud to announce Charlie Harbin as the NHHS winner and Khloe Randles as the KDS DAR winner.
Charlie Harbin
Charlie plans to attend Wallace State Community College with an anticipated Major of Secondary Education. He is the son of William Harbin and Valerie Stapler. He hopes to become a teacher and coach and would love the opportunity to teach at his alma mater, New Hope. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Leo Club and has a love for baseball. He came highly suggested in letters of recommendation from some of New Hope High School’s administration staff. Charlie has participated in numerous extracurricular activities as well as served in many volunteer and community service capacities.
Khloe Randles
Khloe plans to attend Athens State University with an anticipated Major of Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Scott and Stefanie Randles. She knows that her love of children is the number one reason she chose to pursue an Elementary Education Degree. She has maintained a 4.3 GPA and came highly suggested in letters of recommendation by some of her teachers. Khloe has participated in numerous extracurricular activities as well as served many community volunteer hours throughout her high school career.
