NHTC is proud to announce the 2022 $1500 scholarship recipients: Jordan Stewart and Hope Hammond!

Jordan Stewart

Jordan Stewart is the daughter of Brent and Catherine Stewart and is graduating from KDS DAR. Jordan currently works as an intern for COLSA Corporation in the Office of the Chairman. Jordan is described as “hardworking and intelligent, and very driven to achieve the goals she sets for herself.”

Jordan has been very active in many school teams and organizations while excelling in academics, leadership, and service. Jordan plans to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) with a dual major in Political Science and Economics including pre-law courses. Jordan then plans to join her twin sister in four years to enter law school together at Suffolk University.

Hope Hammond

Hope Hammond is the daughter of Chris and Kathy Hammond and is graduating from NHHS. Hope has been very active in athletics and school organizations all while maintaining a rigorous AP-laden curriculum. During her junior year, Hope was initiated into the National Honor Society. Hope is described as “well loved by her peers and a student with grit.”

Hope plans to attend the University of North Alabama (UNA) to pursue a career in physical therapy and major in kinesiology.
