NHTC understands the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are actively monitoring the health threat and following the guidance from local, state, and federal agencies, as well as health experts. In the current environment, the health and well-being of our customers and employees is a priority. After careful consideration, NHTC has decided to open our lobby to walk-in traffic beginning January 31. We ask that you please continue contacting customer service via telephone (256-723-4211), using the drive-thru (backside of building, off Hayden St.) as well as utilizing NHTC’s online tools to manage your account (https://nehp.smarthub.coop/Login.html) as often as possible. Should you require a trip to our office, we ask that you please follow the guidelines that we currently have in place.
- NHTC recommends that customers wear a mask upon entering the NHTC lobby.
- Customers should use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
- Customers should adhere to social distancing guidelines, maintaining a minimum 6-foot distance from others.
We will continue our service call policy which consists of calling customers ahead of time to confirm appointments, wearing proper PPE (masks, gloves, etc.), disinfecting vehicles and tools used by NHTC employees, and implementing service call screening questions before sending a technician to the home. We also ask that you continue to notify us as soon as possible if someone in the home falls ill and you have an appointment scheduled for a technician visit.
For additional information about COVID-19, we strongly encourage you to visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at cdc.gov. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 256-723-4211. Thank you for your continued support.
