NHTC is proud to continue its commitment to local students, schools, and communities with $7,500 athletic sponsorships to New Hope High School, KDS DAR High School, and Madison County High School. Together, the three sponsorships represent a $22,500 investment in local high school athletics across the communities NHTC serves, no fundraising required.

NHTC Marketing & Public Relations Manager, Christy Barecky, recently presented the $7,500 sponsorships to each school on behalf of NHTC’s Staff and Board of Directors.

Supporting the Schools that Strengthen Our Communities

For NHTC, being a local cooperative means being invested in more than providing fast, reliable fiber internet. It means supporting the schools, students, families, and organizations that make our communities great places to call home.

The 2026 athletic sponsorships include:

These sponsorships help support athletic programs that give local students opportunities to compete, grow as teammates, develop leadership skills, and represent their schools and communities.

Proud to Support New Hope High School and the New Hope Community

New Hope is at the heart of NHTC’s history, and supporting New Hope High School is one of the many ways the cooperative continues to invest in its hometown community. NHTC is proud to provide a $7,500 athletic sponsorship to support New Hope High School and its student-athletes.

From the classroom to the field, court, track, and beyond, NHTC is proud to cheer on the students who represent the New Hope Indians.

Investing in KDS DAR High School and the Grant Community

NHTC also presented a $7,500 athletic sponsorship to KDS DAR High School in Grant, Alabama. As a local communications provider serving the Grant community, NHTC believes supporting local schools is an important part of being a true community partner.

We are proud to support the KDS DAR Patriots and the students, coaches, families, and fans who make high school athletics such an important part of the Grant community.

Continuing Our Support of Madison County High School in Gurley

NHTC is proud to continue supporting Madison County High School with a $7,500 athletic sponsorship for its athletic programs and student-athletes. NHTC’s support of Madison County High School began several years ago and this year that commitment comes at an especially exciting time as NHTC expands its fiber network into the Gurley community.

NHTC presented Madison County High School with a $7,500 athletic sponsorship to support its athletic programs and student-athletes.

As NHTC brings its fiber internet service to more homes and businesses in Gurley, we want to do more than simply build infrastructure. We want to become an active, long-term partner in the community.

Supporting the Madison County Tigers is one way we’re putting that commitment into action.

Local Means More than a Service Area

NHTC has been serving North Alabama since 1951, and our connection to the communities we serve has always gone beyond telecommunications.

As a local cooperative, the people who live, work, learn, and raise their families here aren’t simply customers. They’re our neighbors.

Whether we’re investing in local schools, supporting community organizations, providing scholarships, or expanding access to fiber internet, NHTC believes stronger connections help build stronger communities.

We are proud to support New Hope High School, KDS DAR High School, and Madison County High School and wish all their student-athletes a successful 2026/2027 season.

Go Indians! Go Patriots! Go Tigers!
